About the Author

Kevin J. Glynn earned a bachelor of arts degree in Journalism from the University of Rhode Island and has a background in naval intelligence. He served as a special agent with the U. S. Naval Criminal Investigative Service for 24 years. He is now retired and residing with his wife near the beach in the southeast United States.

Kevin’s sea tales are perfect for readers who appreciate Patrick O’Brien (the Aubrey/Maturin series), Herman Melville (Moby Dick), and Robert Louis Stevenson (Treasure Island). Readers of more contemporary works, such as Michael Crichton’s “Pirate Latitudes” or Andrew Wareham’s “The Call of the Sea” series will enjoy reading Kevin’s novels

Kevin’s first novel, “VOYAGE OF REPRISAL,” took him 11 years to write and edit while he was employed and helping to raise two children. Once he retired, he was able to write, edit and Indie-publish a sequel, “THE ENGLISH CORSAIR,” in one year. His third book is titled: “ARMADA: THE INVINCIBLE.” His “Elizabethan Sea Dogs” nautical fiction series is set during the age of sail in the Renaissance period. They are epic sea tales, filled with intrigue, action and adventure, personal conflicts, and war at sea. Kevin carefully researched his material and filled his books with accurate details, fascinating characters, and page-turning storylines.
